I fully agree with you, Steve. Knowledge and Intelligence are two different things. Being intelligent may make it easier to gain knowledge, but it doesn't mean that you will actually do it!

Bob, hmm, I've been arguing this case for years. Most people confuse the amassing of knowledge with intelligence. Possessing a vast amount of trivial knowledge makes you no more intelligent than a guy who collects Beanie Babies. It's the ability to quickly learn and put your newly-acquired knowledge to productive use that is the mark of a truly intelligent person. In this regard, my wife is quite intelligent and I less so.

Actually Miguk, your approach to math would specifically be defined as "willful ignorance", not simply "ignorance" per se. If you have just not been exposed to math, then yes that would be ignorance.

Absolutely, Miguk, we are all ignorant about many things. On the math thing.. that's ignorant, since you don't care to learn it… you have the ability but not the desire!

We are all ignorant about something. I detest Math and have not desire to learn about it….is that stupid or ignorant?
